Last but not the least for our Chinese New Year celebration. This is one thing I made kulit and made sure to happen. hehehehe.. Initially, I wanted us all to wear Tiong Sams, but it’s so hard to find one for Dino! KOW! Liam and I have ours na. Since Liam turned 1, my cousin bought him a set already (Kaya medyo bitin na ang pants ni Liam, mukhang maksaaska tuloy. haha). I, on the other hand had to buy one last united nations celebration for Liam’s school program.
Since I can’t find one for Dino, we just wore red shirts and let Liam wear his Tiong Sam.
Happy Chinese New Year!! May we all be prosperous and healthy this year of the Sanke! 🙂
Kiong Hee Huat Chai!
Gong Xi Fa Cai!
Kung Hei Fat Choi!
Congratulations to a prosperous Year!
Positive! That’s how Chinese are. Always positive that we will have a brighter and more prosperous New Year. Anyway, in celebration of the Chinese New Year, I wanted to have a family activity na Chinese and since Liam likes his project time in school, decided to do some crafts for the New Year.
At first, I wanted us to make 3D Fireworks, but I don’t like Liam to use that much glitters yet. I can’t handle that pa ata, ung kalat, ung takot na mapunta sa mata.. so I looked for something else and found Chinese Lanterns. Not so tricky yet oh so Chinese.. 🙂
I have to pre-cut the papers lang, since I don’t want Liam to hold scissors yet. So all they have to do is add the Gold sequins and put it together.
Never thought craft projects can be oh so easy. Need to be patient lang looking for the perfect project for us.
Stay tuned for our Chinese New Year Pictorial.. Happy Heart’s day!! 🙂
If there’s one more thing am thankful about MCWD aside from the water provision, is them operating Family park! It’s a park here in Talamban, Cebu that has a big fish pond, a swimmimg pool, a big field complete with seesaws, swings and slides and Liam’s favorite part – the mini zoo. Though animals here are nothing comapred to Manila Zoo or Tagaytay Mini Zoo but it’s still better than nothing. With only 10 pesos entrance fee for adults additional 10 for parking. San ka pa!? Oh, mind you, entrance fee is for free every first Sunday of the Month!! O diba!? nakakatuwa!!??
This is not the first time we visited Family Park. But this time around, we went there prepared. We brought with us a mat, some food and drinks and a lots of toys…
But if you’ll ask what Liam enjoyed the most…
It’s so nice to spend weekends like this. Family time at the greater outdoors! (ehem! plugging yan.. ) Oh yeah, Liam’s wearing his Columbia Sportswear Anti Mosquito Pants. 🙂 Ang galing no!?
