Liam’s 3rd Birthday at The Ranch Toledo

Happy new year to all!! I have a lot of things to posts but too little time. One at a time, I’ll get there too. 🙂 To lessen my blog lags, here’s the last installment on Liam’s 3rd party.  I really thought I’ve posted about this already, kow! Am really getting old!! Anyway, better late than never.

As mentioned in my party prep post, we decided to have an intimate out of town party this year.  We drove all the way to Toledo and checked ourselves in at The Ranch.  Aside from the pool, they also have an aviary, botanical garden and a ranch where you can try horse back rising.  I was super excited about this but we were not able to try any of it. Hehehe

We left the city a little after lunch, we thought it would only be 1.5 hrs drive as what Dino have read online but traffic was heavy at the reclamation area that day and we ended up driving for 2.5 hrs.  We arrived around 5pm and the other facilities were already closed.  So we just hit the pool before dinner. Since it was Dino who drove, he did not swim with us that night.  Nanuod at nag picture na lang sya.

Dinner was so so.  But at least they are not over priced.  We weren’t able to go out anymore for dinner as next establishment near the resort is 20mins away and jollibee lang din ata ang meron. Hehe… After dinner, it was Liam’s favorite part na – candle blowing.  I ordered his cake from Angelica’s – same as last year’s (see post here).

The cake was ok naman except for the fact that they forgot to put “mommy” on the dedication. Anak ng patola! Am the one who ordered and this is my only share, wala pa ako sa ‘love,’ part ng dedication!  After I pointed it out, the attendant quickly saud that she’ll add the word mommy, I said ok and showed her where to put it.  I clearly said to put “mommy &” before the word daddy.  Here’s what she did….

Nataranta ata samen ni Lola si ate! Haha… Pero aside from this taboo, we all loved the cake. Especially the birthday boy who ate all the sugar candies. 🙂

One thing that’s not so ok in The Ranch was that their accommodation doesn’t come with free breakfast.  We still had breakfast there para hassle free lang then we hit the pool again. Since Mr. Sun was really instense that day, Dino did not allow us to go to the aviary and horse ranch anymore.  We all settled down in Lolo and Lola’s room until it’s time for us to check out.

We had lunch at Sumibi Yakiniku Tajimaya at the Crossroads on our way back to the city.  It is a Japanese shabu shabu restaurant that Dino and I love and now the whole family loves it too.  Liam even told us one time that he wants to eat there again.  He said he wants to eat sa cook cook.  hehehe  Dino and I were not able to take pics (again), I’ll just update this post once I get photos from my SIL, Leah.

Overall, it was a great celebration. My son was uber happy with the trip and the ice cream party his Ninang Tita prepared for him.  This made me realize that a party need not be super bongacious, what’s important is that everybody (especially the celebrant) is happy.  That’s all that matters. 🙂

2013 Noche Buena

Merry Christmas everybody! 🙂 Hope you all had a nice one together with your loved ones.  We had a simple celebration here in Cebu. Dino and I decided to spend Christmas here in Cebu for a change.  We invited my in-laws to come over but air fare was too high already (since we decided to stay here the last minute na din)  so everyone decided to stay put in our own cities.  This is the first time we will spend it na kame lang.  A bit nervous at first that Liam might not enjoy it, he might not have gifts to open and what I’ll prepare for Noche Buena. Pero everything turned out well naman.

So for the first time in my 34 years of year of life, I prepared Noche Buena all by myself.  Sorry, did not do it by myself pala, I had Donna and Ate Lilia to help me pa din.  When I was younger, I do help my sis in law (bro’s wifey) in preparing, but it’s always her who has the final say on what we’ll have. This past years naman, we always spend it with Dino’s family, so it’s my in-laws who takes care of the Noche Buena. 🙂

Anyway, here’s what we had for Noche Buena…

I baked Flan cake for the occasion, after all, it’s Baby Jesus’ birthday we are celebrating, right? and what’s a birthday celebration without a cake!? 🙂  (see the recipe here)

For our appetizer, I prepared my SIL’s bacon wrapped asparagus, she prepared this for everyone last year (see her post here).  This is sooo yummy that I don’t want to share these with them, pero it’s Christmas and it’s the season if sharing.  hehehe..

For our main course, I cooked Chicken and Seafood Paella paired with Lumpiang Shanghai.  If there’s one thing I don’t like here in Cebu, that’s the salty lumpia warpper.. 😦  I think they do it to make the wrappers last longer.  Pero we still finished everything. hehehe..

For dessert, I asked Donna to prepare Buko Lychee Salad.  She’s been preparing this quite a number times this year already.  That’s why I called this her specialty na.  She knows the timpla already, not too sweet, not too bland and not too creamy din! 🙂

We had a blast.  They all loved the food prepared.  Liam opened a lot of gifts too (will have a separate post for this).  Of course, we won’t forget to blow a candle for Jesus. 🙂

Kumati (Makati) Trip

Ever since the hubs handled Columbia Sportswear brand, he goes to the US for sales meeting twice a year.  One of which always falls on my birthday.  2010 was an exception (not the meeting date, but Dino did not attend since I just gave birth to Liam then.  This year, Dino was able to fix his schedule so he can fly back to Manila night of my special day.  At least for 2 hrs he will be able to celebrate it with me.  Unfortunately, his flight was delayed and he was home few hours after midnight.  Talk about irony.

Day before our trip, knowing that we’ll be out of town for my birthday, our Cebu staffs sent me a cake for my birthday.  To Liam delight.. 🙂 As usual, my little helped blow the candle and he helped himself with a slice. 🙂  Ever since we came here to Cebu, our staffs never failed to make our day more special. I feel loved. 🙂

Morning of our flight, we decided to bake Calamansi cupcakes and Carrot cupcakes as pasalubong.  I was so organized then, preparing one after the other.  That’s why when the oven decided to break down on me, both recipes were half baked. GRRR!!!  Anywya, Liam had fun doing it naman.  Will just bake some more for Christmas. 🙂

Liam, Donna and I flew to Manila 31st of October for my MIL’s birthday.  We were picked up by Lolo and Lola and dinner was waiting for us at home.  My SIL, Leah, and his hubby, AJ prepared their famous Yogurt Chicken, Pesto Pasta and their luscious Chocolate Cake for Lola.  To my son’s delight, he loved the Chocolate Ganache!

Every all saint’s day, I always help my mom out with the offering and all the rituals.  But since I moved to Cebu and had Liam, I wasn’t able to this anymore.  Even now that we are in Manila, I begged off since we don’t like bringing kids to such places.  I’ll wait for Liam to grow a little more older before introducing him to that.

So what do we do on a free day. Leah and I decided to go to Ace Water Spa in Pasig.  It was really nice and fun there.  Liam loved it so much that he is still asking me if we can go back there until now. the water is warm so it’s ok to stay there for hours without worrying that the little one is getting cold na.   There are so many babies there, even saw a new born in the kiddie pool with the yaya of course.  We had a great time but not much pics since they don’t allow picture taking from time you get into the shower area until you are done.  I appreciate this policy though.  🙂

On my birthday, we only stayed home to prepare for dinner.  Liam, on the other hand, played and make himself busy.  Since we are only staying for 4 nights, the in laws decided not to take all the toys out.  This made me realize one thing, it’s true when other mommies say that imagination and creativity comes out naturally with kids when they have only few toys.

Lolo brought out the toy gun Liam got last Christmas, after playing with the gun (as a gun), it then became a horse, which later became an iron.  hehe  Liam loves (understatement) playing cars – REAL cars.  He likes the steering wheel, the gear and now he met the pedals.  Anyway, we were not able to bring any of his driving toys, so made use of the drawer handles.  He said it’s his steering wheel and he has an imaginary kambyo (gear).  Oh, by the way, there are 3 drawers on Lolo’s bed, one drawer is Hi Ace, the other is Pajeyow and the last one is Starrex.  Funny little boy. 🙂

Aw Aw and Raf Raf galloping away. See the drawer with round knob at his back!??! That's his Pajeyow.. hehehe.. :)

Before lunchtime, Ninang came down and do the stamp project with Liam, which later became their Tattoo.  At the end of the session, Liam looked like a battered child with all the purple ink on his arms and legs.  Ninang and I were not spared and have a lot of “tattoo’ on our arms as well.

That night, my in laws prepared some ‘handa’ for my birthday.  noodles, chicken and pork spring rolls.  My cousin dropped by to see Liam and of course celebrate my birthday with us. 🙂

The following day, we drove to Tagaytay and visited Leah’s friend’s farm to see the horses and the piggies. Liam just got up but he had fun seeing the plants and the animals there.  We then had lunch at The Dining Room, Gourmet Farms.  (see Leah’s post about it here).  We then visited Lola Sexy’s (Ate Caro, Leah’s officemate) house and check out her Christmas decors.

After his afternoon nap, we went to see my side of the family.  We went to Pandacan (my second brother, Jerry’s house) where my mom agreed to meet with us.  You see my mom lived in very Farview (Fairview) and she usually stays with my bro.  (hehe disclaimer agad).  He enjoyed our stay there since he have a new playmate – Kongkong (my SIL’s – Jerry’s wife – nephew).  They played from the time we stepped foot there til before we said our goodbyes.  Sayang lang, since am not very good at taking pics, wala nanaman kameng pictures.  Haist!!

Oh forgot to mention, Liam was so happy when he saw the tree being set up at Lola sexy’s home,  Dino then agreed to buy one here in Cebu.  This was already part of my plan, but was pushed back with all the happening here. But again, as my new matra goes, I refuse to live in fear, there are indeed a lot of reasons to love and life to the fullest.

All in all it was another well spent vacation in Manila. Til our next trip. 🙂

Happy 3rd Birthday Liam!

I wish you enough rain to appreciate the sun more.
I wish you enough happiness to keep your spirit alive.
I wish you enough pain so that the smallest joys in life appear much bigger.
I wish you enough gain to satisfy your wanting.
I wish you enough loss to appreciate all that you possess.
I wish enough “Hello’s” to get you through the final “Goodbye.”

To our ever cute and sweet darling baby boy,

"We refuse to live in fear,
“We refuse to live in a life of fear, there are more reasons to love life.” (taken from Dino’s FB post)

First of all, I want to greet you a belated happy birthday.  As fast as the year have passed, you’ve also grown up so fast.  You’re taller, smarter, funnier, kulit-er (if there’s such a word) and more talkative than ever.

You are more confident and independent now, not shy approaching others and talking to them.  Dancing in front of a crowd or at the stage.  You know our routine na every morning when we have to go to office, never have to cry and ran after us. You are also becoming more curious by the day, that you always ask us what happened or how something happened, what a word mean and tries to use it on your own in every possible way.

I know I say you are talkative but that’s not a bad thing at all.  You always know how to express yourself.  You also have a way with your words that you can have whatever you want.  I remember your summer teacher telling me that you can be a lawyer.  You are witty and never runs out of reasons.  You are  so fast that we can’t fool you around.  You always notice it when we misused a word or said something wrong, never afraid to correct us and laugh with us and I love that about you, anak.

As I told you last year, we are going to have a lot of fighting days.  Am sure that it will be more this year.  Then again, please keep in mind that whatever fights we may have that you will never be loved less.  That if we do it, it means we love you enough to correct you.  We just have to do what must be done to discipline you and prepare you to be the man that you will proud of.

Liam, please never stop being the funny smart little charmer that you are.  Your smile and sweet hugs never fail to brighten up even the most gloomy room.  Always remember that mommy and daddy will always have your back and that whatever we do we are always thinking of you.

Happy Birthday little boy.  I wish you enough…  We love you.  🙂

PS, we did not have that much fight naman this year. very petty and you learn fast that’s why we don’t need to fight again and again. Thank you for that anak.

Liam’s Ice Cream Party

As promised, my sis-in-law, Leah, of The Bright Spot, is my guest blogger today.  Since it was her bright idea to do an ice cream party for Liam ( not to mentioned, she also put so much effort researching for a theme, preparing the props and did not join us for dinner so she and Donna can set  up the table while we’re out).  I asked if she could be so humble to write a post here… and we’re so lucky she agreed!! yey!

Without any further ado.. Here’s her story.. 🙂

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

When Juvvy told me that she wanted an ice cream party for Liam, to be held at The Ranch Resort and Farm (or Gaite Ranch) in Toledo (because it was decided that Liam’s birthday will be spent out of town with the family, instead of holding a party here in Manila), my first consideration was: can we get ice cream inside the resort?  You see, the city of Toledo is a 2-4 hours drive (by land) from the city and that depends on the route you will take.  I have no idea how far will the first grocery be from the resort.

But anyway, we figured we would be able to find ice cream there so Juvvy and I proceeded with the planning for the party essentials to bring to the resort.  I took charge of the party props and Juvvy took care of the ice cream toppings.

We decided on a blue/green/brown color theme because I realized that most of the craft and party items I have at home are in these colors.

Also, Liam’s birthday cake (with bugs and insects as theme), is done in blue and green fondant icing!  Here’s a sneak preview of his cake:

Alas, our trip going to The Ranch took longer than we thought and we arrived there late in the afternoon already.  So we decided to postpone the ice cream party to the following day, and to have it at home instead.

The challenge now was how to keep it a secret from Liam.  We wanted to surprise him with that.

It was decided that the whole family will have dinner outside, and I will be left at home (with Ate Donna) to prepare the house for the ice cream party.

Here was Liam’s reaction when he saw his ice cream table (sorry, lousy pic hehe!):

The birthday boy was super happy!

Here’s the ice cream bar in cool colors of blue, green and white, with hints of brown:

Liam’s stuffed dog toy, Aw-Aw, was a last minute addition to the ice cream table because I can already hear Liam running towards the door, and I am not yet done putting away Liam’s toys, including Aw-Aw.  So I placed him at the table to guard the food, hihi!

There weren’t much food stuff, actually, just the ice cream toppings, some macarons and the kalamansi and carrot cupcakes that Juvvy baked earlier.  However, I made sure that everything in the table followed our color theme and are neatly arranged (para maganda sa picture, di ba? Hehe!)

The buntings were made the day before I left to Cebu.  I printed and cut the letters, and had my officemate stick them in these colored construction papers that I have on stock at home.  I used the baker’s twine I bought from Paper Chic Studio to hold the flags.

The ice cream toppings were served in plastic containers that are resealable.  Better this way para all left-overs can stored right away cos nasa plastic containers na sila.

You’ll noticed that I also used blue and green pens and washi tapes for the labels.  Ganyan ako ka-OC hehe!

Here’s Liam making his own ice cream ‘art’.

I asked Juvvy to buy macarons from Vanille Cafe and Patisserie (click here for my blog post on this patisserie), and specifically requested for macarons in shades of blue, green, white and brown.   So aside from ice cream, we had these heavenly macarons in peppermint, vanilla and chocolate flavors, among others, added to our dessert.

I brought with me this cupcake stand that I got from 168 Mall in one of my trips there.  Na-cute-an lang ako kaya binili ko hehe!   Super cheap, I think it’s just P200.00.  Tamang tama ang color (blue), perfect for Liam’s ice cream party.  So Juvvy baked 2 batches of cupcakes (in kalamansi and carrot flavors), which I arranged in the cupcake stand.

Sorry for the weird icing patterns on top of the cupcakes, I failed big time in using the ready whipped cream in spray can.

The cupcakes and the macaroons completed the ice cream bar.

The green paper cups and plates are also from 168 Mall in Divisoria, while the white paper cups with pastel colored lines are from Shopwise (I brought them to Cebu as ‘buffer’).

The paper straws are from Paper Chic Studio and because I forgot to bring the spoons and forks with me, we just used plastic ones bought from a nearby grocery.   Blue washi tape was wrapped around the plastic spoons, and green for the plastic forks.

We are pleased with how everything turned out, given the very short time in which we planned this party.

Juvvy told me that up to this day, Liam still remembers that ice cream night.  So much so that when she asked Liam if he wanted some ice cream, my smart nephew replied: “It is my birthday again?”

Liam’s happiness that night was truly priceless. Although we all forgot to take proper pictures of him when he first saw the table, that big smile on his face will be forever etched in my mind.

Belated Happy Birthday, Liam!   =)

                                                                    * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

Oh yes!! it was a success!! Seeing Liam’s excitement and bright smile are all proof to that!  Thanks again Ninang Penpen for helping us with the prep and for blogging it here too.. sa uulitin.. hihi.. Hugs! Mwah! 🙂

Liam’s 3rd Birthday Party Prep

I would say this is the most indecisive moment for me.  I have changed my mind over what we will do for Liam’s birthday for thousand times.  That’s how indecisive I was.  Wanting it to be perfect for him.  I changed from school party – to a party in an orphanage – to Jollibee party – to a party with the neighbors – back to Jollibee party – then to a party at the garage – Finally!! to an intimate out of town party! YEY!!

We have decided of this 2 weeks before the actual birthday! Ang galing lang no?!!? hehehe.. Anyway, what’s important is that the celebrant will have a blast on his day!  So final plan includes a tradition (not  done), out of town trip, cake blowing, presents and a DIY Ice cream or Pizza party (definitely ice cream, since Liam loves this).

Tradition:  Liam already is in the stage where he knows what Christmas is.  So I wanted to start the Christmas Tree tradition, where we will put up our Tree on his birthday. I’ve looked for a peg and canvassed already, but with all the craziness the earthquake has brought, we were not able to buy and put up one.  no worries, there will always be next year.  Though, am still planning for us to put up some decors (this will be a project after we get back from our Manila trip)

I wanted a simple tree with simple ornaments lang. Important is that top decor is a star. :)
I wanted a simple tree with simple ornaments lang. Important is that top decor is a star. 🙂

Out of Town Trip;  We initially agreed to book in Best Western Sandbar here in Mactan, but unfortunately they are fully booked.  Am so glad I’ve had a chat with one of my friends here in Cebu and she mentioned “Gaite Ranch” to me in Toledo. Luckily, they are open and have available rooms.  I checked with them after the calamity, they are doing good, so on we went.

Cake Blowing:  Usually, I would have a cake ready in the morning, but this year, am really super disorganized I was not able to buy even a small cake for the morning.  But, I was able to order a cake for Liam’s out of town party naman. So ok pa din. 🙂  By the way, this is what he wished for his birthday – A Birthday Cake!  Sana every year yan lang request nya.. hehehe

For the cake, I wanted a Bug themed cake just because our not so little boy is into bugs and insects nowadays. So I printed out these pics for his cake.

Presents:  I just wanted Liam to open presents, kahit pa mumurahin lang na items inside. So I bought some toys and wrap them individually.  And I knew my SIL bought Liam books as presents already and for sure my MIL and FIL  have something for our boy too.

Ice Cream Party:  This one, I will let Leah of The Bright Spot, share with you guys what we did.  Yes, she will be my guest blogger here. Excited much!  She hosted an ice cream party for her friend’s family last August and I was so inggit.  We are both sure that Liam will super like this, so we decided to do it for him.  Well, what is a party without invitations diba?!?!  I tasked Liam to prepare the invitations for his guests.

Liam personally gave these invits to his guest – Lolo, Lolo and Ninang Penpen.  We weren’t able to take pics as we are in the office when he guest arrive our home.   He immediately asked Donna to get the invits so he can give it to them.  kakatuwa.

Can’t wait for Leah’s post. Stay tuned guys! 🙂

Moal Boal Day 3

We really went back to the city on the second day, but can’t think of better title for this post.  This is actually Day 3 for Ninong and Ninang’s visit. 🙂

Anyways, that morning, we let the godparents sleep in a little.  A little lang, kasi Liam still woke them up for breakfast and walang katapusang panggugulo at pagpapasikat…

After our morning preparations, we all trooped to SM City Cebu. and as usual, ang pinakabulinggit ang nasunod where we will have our lunch – Tokyo Joe.  After lunch and some store rounds (yes, we went to SM so Ninong can visit TNF and do store rounds), we all went back home for Liam’s nap time while the adults went to Carbon to buy Liam a pet.

Dino and I have been planning to buy Liam a pet for a while now, we just couldn’t agree what to get.  I want fishes (pero nakakatamad mag linis ng aquarium) and Dino wants a Guinea Pig.   Anyway, Ken learned that we want to buy Liam a pet and volunteered to pay for the pets as his gift for his inaanak. double yey for mommy.. hehe.  When we got to Carbon, we all agreed to have..

Can you see the look in Ninong’s face? Looks like he wants to take the hamsters back to Manila. hehehe

We hurried back home so Liam will not wake up without us there, naku! Disaster yun! He agreed to nap with the promise that we will wait for him outside. hehehe.

How time flies! This post is more than a month late and I still have 2 more adventures to post. Oh well, easy lang.. darating din ako sa kanila.  Am so looking forward to more family outings with my boys.

By the way, before I end this post, some hamsters update and facts about our cute pets:

– They were named Popo (male) and Pipi (female) after the aliens in Pororo & Friends series
– Pipi went missing after 2 weeks with us (the tunnel was dis-aligned and she escaped).  When we are already accepting that we can’t find her na, Ate Donna suddenly shouted and saw Pipi going in the neighbor’s gate.. Whew!
– After 3 weeks with us, Pipi gave birth to 7 pups, none of them lived. (bad masters. we don’t know how to breed them yet)
– Pipi’s mane is darker than Popo’s
– Popo’s mane is always wild (parang laging mahangin sa labas!)
– Pipi likes to be fed, Popo gets his food from the bowl

Hmm.. I think madadagdagan na ang pets come December, someone’s asking for a Guinea pig from Santa. hehe Let’s see if Santa will grant his wish.. 🙂

Moal Boal Day 2

We started our day 2 early.  Well, as you may have already read before, Liam is an early riser (another trait he got from his dad, definitely not mine.. hehe).  Pati ang ninong at ninang nagising ng maaga. hehe Since our room does not come with free breakfast, the godparents bought bread, spreads and some snacks too.  I brought some instant noodles naman for all.  And for Liam, we ordered pancakes and omelet from the restaurant.

Breakfast is fun with the Bugoys and our Bugoyito.. :)

After our hearty breakfast, we decided to have an early swim.  Liam scrutinized and ransacked the cabana first before we hit the pool.  being the praning mommy that I am, I forced asked him to wear his floating vest which took me a while to convince him and to which, I also agreed him to remove after a while.  Not sure if it’s really like that or maybe because I bought the cheap kind, the hems are rubbing his skins causing his skin to redden.  Mas takot ako magka blisters anak ko, so I allowed him to remove na.

If you’re wondering where his ninang is, nag solo sa beach trying to find a “catch” hehe.  We joined Tin sa beach after 2 hrs in the pool (longest for Liam).  But I felt Liam is cold na, so we decided to troop back to barracks and relax a bit before our lunch.  We had our lunch there again (one thing I don’t like here is having very few choices for our meals).  Liam and Tin enjoyed the trampoline after lunch before we head back to the city.

What He Wore

I’ve posted about Liam’s costumes last year and as you can see am a bit pasaway. Anyway, this year, I will try my best not to be pasaway. But comfort will still be top of my priority.

Here’s what he wore last Linggo ng Wika celebration…

Here's our star looking for us.. hehehe
Here’s our star minutes before his performance… 🙂

One thing I like about Liam’s school is that they send out memos weeks before actual event.  This gives parents more time to prepare and plan their trips to the mall.   So walang cramming.

3 weeks before their program, their required costumes was announced – Camisa Chino, Khaki tokong pants, scarf, buri hat and any thong slippers.  Easy lang yan!! hehe

Buri hat was needed the following day so we bought that one first.  Good thing we found one in the nearest mall at only 25.  I just asked Donna to sew a lining inside para di makati for Liam or else he might not wear it.

Scarf was also easy as we decided to let him use his “unused” scarf last year.  He did not wear it last year as he don’t want anything on his neck.  This year, ayaw pa din nya, but I did not give in to his pleas and cries. (read:  “Tanggal this, please”) Snob ang beauty ko. He obediently wore those din whole time.  Yun lng pala ang technique! 🙂

Khaki tokong pants was a bit hard. Initially, I plan to buy a soft khaki fabric and have 1 sewn for him.  Unfortunately, did not find anything I like, so I decided to look for a ready made one.  While painstakingly looking, I remember Liam having a Beige Columbia (mosquito repellent) pants.  So I just asked Donna to fold and saw. Voila!! Tokong na sya!! ok naman diba?!?!

Last was the camisa, this was the easiest but dito ako muntik sumablay (hehehe).  Another good thing about Liam’s school, days before the program, they require all kids to bring their costumes for checking.  So we chose Liam cleanest white shirt (this is what he wore every night to sleep) When we got home that night…

Me (checking the memo again):  ok, will buy colorful camisa chino..
TOINKS!!! di nagbabasa ng mabuti ang nanay!! It was clearly written – Bright colored camisa chino! hehehehe

Thanks to our ever reliable Gaisano Countrymall (2mins walk away from office or from home), we were able to buy Liam a blue one. 🙂

Watch his performance here.  Enjoy!

Linggo ng Wika 2013

Last week, my in-laws were here to celebrate Dino’s birthday with us. Sakto din, it was Liam’s Linggo ng Wika presentation.

We were all expecting him not to dance, like last year, since he was not participating during practice. Tuloy, T’May placed him at the back of the formation, nasa side pa.

Liam was acting up when we got there. Since it’s very rare that we go with him na to school. It’s their new policy that parents and yaya cannot go inside the school na so kids will be more independent.

Anyway, am a bit positive na kahit he is not in the mood, he will participate naman. I talked to him that we will all watch him, kaya he needs to dance.  Tama nga ako, when his group is in queue na, he obediently joined them and went up to stage. And, siya lang ang sumayaw sa klase nya. hehehehe.

Well done Liam! We are all so proud of you. 🙂
